A new exhibition focused on Paul McCartney’s post Beatles band, Wings, is coming to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. The museum said the show, titled Paul McCartney and Wings, opens May 15, 2026, and will highlight the decade McCartney spent building a new chapter after The Beatles.

The Associated Press reported the exhibit pulls heavily from McCartney’s own archive, with additional material from former bandmates and people who worked around the group. On display will be instruments, stage outfits, handwritten lyrics, tour keepsakes, and photographs that have not been widely seen by the public.

The timeline starts with McCartney’s 1970 solo debut and moves into the creation of Wings in 1971, a band formed with Linda McCartney and changing lineups over the years. It follows the group through major tours and releases, then wraps with the band’s breakup in 1981. McCartney has been inducted into the Hall twice, first as a member of The Beatles in 1988 and later as a solo artist in 1999.
