Kim Kardashian is opening up about how she and Ye are handling their daughter North West’s growing interest in music. In recent comments about North’s career, Kardashian said the two parents are able to communicate more effectively when decisions involve professional opportunities for their daughter.
Kardashian explained that she and Ye try to stay aligned on the projects North takes on. Their 13-year-old daughter has already built a noticeable presence in music, including appearances on songs connected to Ye and Ty Dolla $ign. She also reached the Hot 100 with Talking when she was 10.
North has continued developing her own musical identity, releasing her debut EP, N0rth4evr, in May 2026 and stepping into solo performances.
Kardashian said North enjoys creative opportunities and being in the public eye, but she does not approve every project that comes her way. Instead, she is trying to manage the pace of North’s career while giving her room to explore music and performance.
