Yes has pushed back its planned European and UK Fragile tour after Steve Howe was advised to undergo surgery followed by a recovery period. The announcement came as the band prepared to bring its classic 1971 album back to the stage for a run of shows later this year.

The group said the decision was made so Howe can focus fully on his health before returning to live performances. Rescheduled dates are expected to be announced, and tickets already purchased for the postponed shows will remain valid for the new dates.

The tour was set to spotlight Fragile, one of the band’s most celebrated releases, known for tracks that helped define progressive rock in the early 1970s. The postponement affects the band’s upcoming dates across Europe and the UK, but other performances scheduled for later in 2026 are still expected to go ahead as planned.

For now, the band is asking fans for patience while Howe recovers. The update gives the group time to regroup and return when the lineup is ready to perform the material at full strength.
